Document procedure and preparation guide

Case 1: Korean-issued documents for use in Vietnam

Documents already certified by the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and legalized by the Vietnamese Embassy can proceed to local translation and notarization. Documents with MOFA certification only may require additional consular confirmation.

Case 2: Vietnamese-issued documents

Translation, notarization, and foreign-affairs certification can generally proceed locally.

  • Send a photo or scan first so we can confirm eligibility and the exact quote.
  • Notarization generally requires an original or an officially certified true copy.
