Notarization & Apostille
Processing times are as follows:
- Translation Notarization: Available on the same day as translation completion. (Please allow 1-2 days for delivery via registered mail.)
- Apostille: Takes approximately 1 to 2 days after notarization.
- Embassy Legalization: Varies by country but typically takes more than one week. (Note: Postal delivery times are separate.)
- Translation Notarization: A lawyer certifies that the translated content is accurate and identical to the original document.
- Apostille: A state-level (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) verification that validates the document’s legal effect for use overseas.
- The required procedure depends on the specific requirements of the submission authority.
For non-member countries (e.g., Vietnam), documents must undergo Consular Confirmation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, followed by Embassy Legalization (Consular Authentication) at the relevant country’s embassy in Korea. Transportal manages this entire process on your behalf.
Payment & Billing
Yes. Once the quote is approved, please send us a copy of your Business Registration Certificate and the contact person’s email address, and we will issue an electronic tax invoice.
In principle, work begins once the payment of the quoted amount is confirmed.
We accept bank transfers and credit cards.
- International Clients: We support PayPal and international wire transfers.
- Corporate & Public Institutions: Post-payment arrangements can be discussed to align with your internal billing systems.
Translation Request
Yes, it is possible. We offer a standalone “Native Proofreading” service where professional native editors refine grammar, expressions, and nuances to transform your text into natural, high-quality sentences.
Need a translation? Please use the [Online Quote] page on our website. Simply attach your file and specify your desired delivery date. A dedicated manager will review your request and send you a rapid quote via text message within 5 to 10 minutes.
Costs are calculated based on the word count (or character count) of the source text, language pair, technical difficulty, and urgency. Sending the original file allows for the most accurate quote. Please note that the estimation process may take longer if the source text is in an image format.
Yes, it is available. If you request “Express Processing” when asking for a quote, we will prioritize your project to meet your deadline, including working nights and weekends. (Note: Additional fees may apply depending on the volume and difficulty.)
We maintain a policy of strict confidentiality. We execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with all our translators before any work begins. Upon request, we can also sign a separate NDA directly with the client. All data is permanently deleted from our system a certain period after delivery.
If there are clear mistranslations or omissions in the delivered product, we provide corrections free of charge without any time limit. (However, revisions requested based solely on personal stylistic preferences may be excluded.)
